"The perfect Christmas tree? All Christmas trees are perfect!"
'Tis that time of the year again!
It's like I blinked and now it's almost December, can't believe it. 2021 has definitely been quite an eventful year but through it all, we remain grateful.
If this is your best time of the year, like it is for me, you've probably started your Christmas decorating or are just about to begin. Whichever side you're on, these few tips could go a long way in giving you the look you desire to have overall for your Christmas décor.
The Christmas tree is typically the major décor piece when 'Christmas decorating' your space. You'll therefore want it to turn out perfect. Here are a few tips to consider when choosing a tree for your space;
Tree Size: typically an average ceiling is 9ft . For more customized or luxurious homes though you'll find 10- 12 ft. ceilings. For average ceilings however, the maximum height for your tree should be 8ft. Anything between 6ft - 8ft should work well for your space. If it's too big, it's going to make your space look tacky. Just as well, if it's too small, the tree will practically disappear in the space
Tree Location: where you place your tree matters in your space. Try to avoid areas that are already focal points within your space, otherwise you'll have competing focal points in a not-so-pleasant way. Try areas like close to a window or sliding doors, open floor close to the dining area, in a corner in-between couches etc. The size of the tree ultimately determines what area will look best, so you could try different locations to find out which suits you the most.
Tree Style: There are several styles of Christmas trees on the market and it could become overwhelming when trying to choose one. Here are a couple of trees worth considering;
- The GoPlus pre lit Christmas tree pros: well flocked, not too large, pre lit
cons: on the pricier side

Which is your favorite out of the 5?
