I Wrote A Book !

I am so excited and "grateful" that I finally get to write these words - " I wrote a book" .

Yes, a children's book. Like I shared with my Instagram followers, I was inspired by my son - Mr. Mo to create something he can relate with while learning life lessons.

We live in Canada and I'll honestly say, I never thought about what it means to live in another country until I got to the said country about 7 years ago. Now that our family is growing, we want to make sure we are bringing them up in a caring and nurturing environment that teaches about values which they'll hold on to for life.

I also want my children to look up to me -This was the case while I was growing up. My dad could do absolutely no wrong! He was a successful professor and a mentor to many.

Considering that this is a diverse country, we have different races, some significantly more than others. It's important to show up where it matters, leave an impact in my community and be successful at what I do here in Canada because this is home for me and my family. I want my children to see that and embrace it like they'll do if they grew up in Nigeria.

Representation matters, and though there's a culture shift, values must never shift.

My official book launch is on the 30th of July and you can purchase either the e-book or the paperback in the shop section of my website.

This is a new beginning and I hope to make a series so you should be expecting more books from me in the future :)
