What It's Like Being a Mom of 2

“Being a mama isn’t always easy. The sleepless nights, the constant worry, the endless piles of washing. But no matter hard it feels, I will always show up for my children. I will always try my best. Because from the very first moment I held them in my arms, I knew my job was to protect and love them with all my might.”

We welcomed our new addition on the 15th of January this year. Which makes me a mom of a boy and girl :) (boy/girl mama).

I am grateful that my mom was able to come in to help amidst this whole pandemic craziness because it's been a huge relief for me.

So what's it like being a mom of 2? It's crazy busy!

My almost 3 month old isn't on a sleep schedule yet, so you can imagine what that is like. My older one is home for now because we feel it's safer for us all. He is super active as you can imagine and to be honest, our schedule is all over the place.

On some days, I have my first meal by 2pm ish and on some days, 9am ish. Doing laundry in-between pumping or breastfeeding and making sure Mr Mo eats his lunch (This is a constant battle)

I cook a lot now because we are home a lot thanks to the constant and endless lockdowns/ shutdowns. Standing longer that normal, on the plus side I get to close my rings on my apple watch so fitness is winning! I actually do enjoy cooking so It's not much of a big deal, it's the cleaning up that wears me out lol.

But guess what, I love being a mom to my darling prince and princess and I won't have it any other way. I am learning to live in the moment because time is flying like crazy. Mo is almost 4 years and Desi ( her name is Modesire) is 3 months in a few days.
